After a scrumptious English breakfast cooked by Mike on the braai
we headed for OR International airport to collect our car. We are pleasantly surprised by the make: an Audi A3, automatic! Yeh! Driving on the left is hard enough, so no worries about the gears. We said goodbye to the best and dear and most lovely hosts Marianne and Mike at the car rental before they led the way to the correct exit on the freeway.
Last night we had a lovely supper at Ocean Basket, a family-style fish restaurant where we had a great meal. We were each given a lovely and thoughtful present and had a splendid last evening together.
During the day we packed, practised some driving, looked at the maps and went to Sandton, a luxury shopping mall where we took our picture at a Nelson Mandela statue.
Vandaag hebben we ca. 400 km gereden van JHB (Gauteng) naar Graskop in (Mpumalanga). Na een lunch in Dullstroom, een van de laatste stukken ongerept Hoogveld, via Lydenburg over de Long Tom Pas naar Sabie. Onderweg al volop genoten van het landschap en nu aangekomen in het Graskop Hotel waar we twee nachten verblijven.
